Human gets paid by AI, Rentahuman.ai – sales positioning behind this viral
Rentahuman went viral on the internet with the concept that humans get paid when AI gives them tasks. We are not going to discuss the technical details of Rentahuman here, but rather how it went viral.
Yesterday I read a Business Insider headline about AI prompting humans to do tasks.
It looks crazy at first in the middle of the AI boom, but there is real insight in the perspective behind why this idea went viral.

First, the name – “Rent a Human” – is simple, easy to understand, and stands out in the AI boom. Everyone is talking about automation, robots, and AI.
AI taking human jobs and job cuts is the main topic today. Here, the AI agent gives work, negotiates, checks the work, pays, and reviews for you. Cool.
It is positioned as: “AI can’t touch grass. You can. Get paid when agents need someone in the real world.”
This is the right sales positioning: AI gives jobs to humans, and humans get paid by AI.
This framing increases sharing across news outlets, articles, and among tech people. It increased views, led to many paid verifications, and eventually the idea went viral and sales increased.
